Evidence Rating
High Confidence: Supported by primary documents, official records, direct statements, or multiple credible sources.
Moderate Confidence: Supported by credible reporting, but some details remain incomplete.
Low Confidence: Early, developing, or limited information.
Unverified: Not published as fact.
Anonymous Sourcing
CiviUpdate avoids vague attribution such as “sources say.” Anonymous sourcing may only be used when there is a clear reason, the source’s access is explained, and the claim is corroborated when possible.
